An Extra Options plugin by Pantsedit that adds an ENHANCED TUNING tab to the game's tuning screen, with 15 live sliders and per-car tune persistence.
•Engine: horsepower, low/high-end torque, boost and rev limit.
•Drivetrain: top speed gearing.
•Chassis: weight and steering lock.
•Brakes: brake force.
•Grip: front and rear tire grip.
•Aero: drag plus front/rear downforce.
•MW Handling: Need for Speed: Most Wanted (2005)-style handling preset.
•Saves per-car settings to tunes.ini and restores them on subsequent sessions.
•Uses in-memory adjustments and displays updated horsepower in car statistics, without altering saved class/PI data.
1. Use your own Forza Horizon 2 (Xbox One) build 1.0.0.64 with Azimuth 1.0.1 and (the author's tested versions).
2. Enable Get in Car from the pause menu in Extra Options for additional tuning reload behavior.
3. Download FH2-EnhancedTuning-1.0.0.zip from the GitHub Releases page.
4. Merge its mods directory into the Azimuth directory containing azimuth.exe and start the game.
5. Open Cars > ENHANCED TUNING to configure the sliders. Reset sliders to their stock markers to undo changes.
Important: the author advises backing up saves. Some engine settings can affect multiple vehicles sharing an engine. Compatibility with newer Azimuth and Extra Options builds is not verified in the README.
Uninstall: remove Enhanced Tuning from mods/loadorder.txt and delete mods/Enhanced Tuning, preserving tunes.ini if desired.
