THE FH2 ONLINE COMMUNITY

Your Horizon. Together.

Original Forza Horizon 2 online services are gone, but community projects have brought new ways to meet, drive and race on PC. Explore two independent solutions and compare their documented features.

FH2Mods is an independent community directory, not the operator of either multiplayer service. This comparison summarizes official project documentation and release notes reviewed on October 29, 2026; it is not an availability, performance, latency or security benchmark. Check the projects themselves for current online status.

FH2MP guide

Set up safely

Before installing multiplayer

  1. 1. Ensure your own compatible Xbox One FH2 copy runs successfully in Azimuth first.
  2. 2. Back up saves and preserve a clean game setup.
  3. 3. Choose one multiplayer system and use that project's official installation guide.
  4. 4. Keep its required hooks, Extra Options and Mod Platform versions matched to its release.

Do not combine the two online hooks in one Azimuth setup. They use different network services and game-side components. Use separate installations unless maintainers explicitly document compatibility.
