An unofficial mod by aranhoso that integrates AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution 4.1.1 Native AA into Forza Horizon 2 running through Azimuth.
Instead of upscaling from a lower resolution, it replaces the game's MSAA with temporal anti-aliasing at the native render resolution, aiming to improve fine detail stability, fences, wires, foliage and moving edges. This is not FSR Quality/Performance upscaling and is not advertised as an FPS boost.
•FSR 4.1.1 Native AA using AMD's official FidelityFX DX12 loader.
•D3D12/DXGI injection through a dxgi.dll proxy.
•Sub-pixel jitter and full-resolution motion vectors reconstructed from FH2's motion-blur data.
•HDR scene colour and depth integration before tonemapping and the HUD.
•F11: toggle FSR on/off; F9: motion-vector debug overlay; F10: overlay brightness.
•Logging in fh2_fsr.log beside azimuth.exe.
•Forza Horizon 2 PC build 1.0.0.64.
•Azimuth 0.9.9 (version tested by the developer; compatibility with Azimuth 1.0.x is unverified).
•AMD Radeon RX 9000 (RDNA 4) and recent AMD Adrenalin driver. Tested by the author on RX 9070 XT, Windows 11, 2560×1440 with HDR. RX 7000 may work according to the author, but has not been tested.
•FH2 Extra Options can coexist according to the author; FH2ML support is not claimed.
•Known limitations: incomplete motion vectors for wheels/foliage; potential trailing on particles and transparency without a reactive mask; approximate camera parameters. Storm Island and Fast & Furious variants may require adjustments.
1. Download FH2-FSR4-0.1.0.zip from the official GitHub release.
2. Copy these three DLLs beside azimuth.exe in the Azimuth installation folder: dxgi.dll, amd_fidelityfx_loader_dx12.dll, and amd_fidelityfx_upscaler_dx12.dll.
3. Turn anti-aliasing off in the Azimuth launcher (or set antialiasing=off in data/azimuth.ini).
4. Start the game and use F11 to compare FSR on/off.
Important: Back up any existing dxgi.dll before replacing it, as another proxy mod may use the same filename. To remove this mod, restore the original file if applicable and remove only the three files supplied by this mod.

Author-tested on RX 9070 XT, Windows 11, 1440p HDR, using Azimuth 0.9.9. Untested by FH2Mods. Azimuth 1.0.x support unconfirmed. FSR 4 Native AA is not resolution upscaling or a performance mode.
