Unofficial extension of Extra Options 0.2.98 for Forza Horizon 2 (Xbox One version) running on Azimuth. This is an update of my fork, not an update from the original Extra Options author.
What's new in fork2
•Keyboard support: drive with WASD, arrow keys move the camera while driving and navigate menus, Enter/Backspace/Esc in menus. Works together with a controller (one merged controller, no "player 2" problems). Full list: Keybindings.txt in the ZIP or the README. Thanks for the idea in the YouTube comments!
•Original force feedback: the wheel now uses FH2's own Xbox wheel force feedback (the game's original wheel programs run on the PC), exactly like on the Xbox. Only strength (up to 200%) and rumble can be scaled.
•Simpler wheel menu: the fork1 FFB profiles and tuning sliders are gone.
•Ready-made profiles in Optional/Profiles: Controller, Keyboard, Wheel.
•Fixed in-game texts: traffic changes need an Azimuth restart; fog only on Storm Island (sunny elsewhere).
Removed / changed compared to fork1
•H-pattern shifter removed from the menu: FH2 only knows shift up / shift down and ignores the gear of a shifter. Use the paddles (or E/Q on the keyboard).
•The fork1 FFB profiles (My Setup, Soft, Direct, Off-Road, Drift) and the extra FFB sliders are no longer in the menu.
Good to know
•While a wheel is plugged in, the game drives with the wheel only. To drive with keyboard or controller, set Wheel: Use Wheel In Game to Off and restart the game (or unplug the wheel).
•Traffic settings apply after restarting Azimuth.
Installation (Azimuth)
1. Extract the ZIP.
2. Copy the two files from the Azimuth folder into your Azimuth folder (next to azimuth.exe). Back up your old winmm.dll and FH2_ExtraOptions.ini first.
3. Start the game. Settings: Options › HUD › bottom.

Start the game, reproduce the problem, close the game, then drag the files into the issue.

🚨 This mod never asks you to paste commands into PowerShell or to run an "All-in-One" installer. Anything like that is a scam (see the warning in the original README). Only download from this repository.
⚠️ Unofficial – not supported by the Extra Options author or the Azimuth developer. Please don't report issues with this fork to them. Tested with Azimuth 0.9.10 and a Logitech G920.
Source code: this repository (GPL-3.0). Made and tested with the help of Claude (Anthropic). In-game texts are German/English depending on the game language.
